HBA Global Expansion

As the HBA doubles down on its expansion into countries across the globe, we are hosting expansion celebrations in regions and cities across the globe, including Europe, Asia, and South America in 2024 and 2025, and potentially Africa in 2026. 

At the HBA, we are a United Force for Change to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare across the globe. While our biggest footprint historically has been in the U.S., we are making great strides to expand our impact beyond North America. 

Our country- and city-specific expansion celebrations are two-day events, organized and hosted by local volunteers. The first half day consists of an intimate leadership roundtable where local and regional industry executives, association leaders, elected officials, and other key opinion leaders discuss the issues and opportunities women experience in healthcare in their particular country or region. The second day is a full-day leadership summit, with keynote speakers, engaging panels, and many opportunities for networking. 

Ultimately, these expansion celebrations serve as a venue to discuss the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare, how we achieve gender parity in leadership positions, how to provide equitable practices that enable organizations to realize the full potential of women, and facilitate opportunities to meet leaders and colleagues across the healthcare industry.
